Daniel Satta
DJ / Producer
Daniel Satta is a new face out of Los Angeles' small but admirably vital and diverse electronic music scene. Being devoted to and involved into electronic music culture for the past 25 years, may it be as DJ, promoter or just as the guy who's got the loudest laughter on the dance floor, Daniel by any means paid his tributes.
Starting out with playing two cassette decks at School-Parties in the late 80s, up to hosting and DJing at “Techno-Parties” back in Darmstadt, Germany in the early and mid- 90's, up to working at the record store pushing Techno and House records around the Millennium, all up to the year 2004 where he relocated to Berlin to start working at Native Instruments, one of the worlds finest audio hard- & software manufacturers, Daniel, not only due to his German heritage, literally came a long way to finally show up at the front door of the electronic music world.
Since his relocation to L.A. in early 2007 he began manifesting an artistic relationship with John von Seggern & Viktor Carrillo, two other iconic figures out of L.A.'s shrill nightlife, in order to form Xeriscape Records; a platform to release contemporary electronic dance music after their fancies.
Daniels' releases as 'Satta' usually tend to be a little darker and quirkier where his output as 'Daniel Zeta' is clearly more playful and dancefloor orientated. His latest release, the "Beacon E.P." is available on Beatport.
